This Apple Mini DisplayPort to DVI Display Adapter is designed to allow users of a Mac computer featuring the Mini DisplayPort connector to output to an external monitor or projector that features a Dual-Link DVI port. In addition, it also features a USB extension cable that runs alongside the DVI cable, for convenience sake. Both video-mirroring and dual-display modes are supported.
The Apple Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter lets you connect the 30' Apple Cinema Display HD to a MacBook, MacBook Pro, or MacBook Air laptop computer with a Mini DisplayPort. You can use an external display as your main workspace or to extend your desktop, or you can work in mirrored mode with a projector so you can view what your audience sees.
